I was eager to get a listing of all the Qantas codeshare flights but could not find it on the Ultimate Qantas Guide thread. I have made my own list here, not sure if anyone else is interested - Have not included the British Airways or American Airlines flights. Also, not sure if the London-Malta flight is running yet but included it anyway.

Found it interesting that you could fly all the way to Beirut, or between Frankfurt and Zurich on a QF Flight codeshare.

Does anybody know if there are others?

yes...we need a guide like this! :)

QF AA codeshares are easy to spot, just look at the "where we fly" map and look for the domestic only US sectors

Have now included the BA and AA flights. Any others?

Swiss Air doesn't exist anymore and the successor Swiss Air Lines (sic!) now belongs to Lufthansa.

Thanks Mal - that is where I actually deciphered the info for the original list.

Here is the updated list without Swissair - thanks cpl

Mal, are you sure this is current?

Hmm. Yeah, goes to show you can't trust anything from Qantas sometimes!

(Did some checking on it with a couple of flights I know, but didn't check it all. A re-check does show it's old... No Lan for example, the EZE flights as you pointed out etc).

That is the listing from the current Qantim version, so Qantas needs to update it I think.

browski's post is from late 2005, and mine seems to be prehistoric compared to that, so no Mexicana yet!

I'm sure someone will nut out the codeshares and post them.... as for when, not sure! Maybe when Qantas updates their out-of-date QANTIM product :D

Im doing a LONE4 and QANTAS wont let me have the QF flight numbers within the USA and canada, barstards, so ill only get 0.5 of a point per mile

Are you flying to or from the USA with Qantas? If so, there is no reason they should deny the use of QF codeshares. The fare rules permit their use.

But if you are not flying to or from the USA on Qantas (ie BNE/SYD/MEL-HNL/LAX/SFO) than QF is not allowed to sell you the QF codeshare flight number.

There also has to be availability in the right booking class (in this case L) on the codeshare to get it. Having availability on the same booking class on the operating airline code (or any other code share for that matter) doesn't necessarily mean there is availability on the code share.

And just to confuse things, throw Australian in to the bunch now - IE QF60 CNS - SYD

You're missing the most revered of all QF codeshare services.;) Those with the number QF5xx_. They appear in the oneworld timetable for "international connection/stopover traffic only" and also when making redemptions between certain cities.

Yes flying QF as much as i can, but my travel agent has booked it through AA because the fee's are saving me about 700 big ones. So are these qantas rules or OW rules? because if i can i would love to have QF flight numbers to get more points

According to some Qantas people I have spoken with, its a US FAA rule. The QF code on USA domestic flights can only be sold in conjunction with QF travel to or from the USA. That also includes selling QF107/108 LAX-JFK-LAX.

However, there are some people who believe the FAA rule should also permit the QF codes to be used in conjunction with any international itinerary and not just QF to/from USA.

AA will be keen to book you onto the AA code because they will then receive a greater proportion of the fare paid for the ticket.

Apparently its qantas having a winge about it not AA

Hi Dajop,
Can you elaborate a bit on these codeshares?
