ALL Accor+ Explorer Membership Discussion

Is there not a limit of points/nights that you can accrue through card membership?
Signature is the only way you can get status points if not staying. Status nights are limited to 30 per year using subscription programs although this is not currently applicable to the China Accor Plus program in reality, how long the loophole remains is unknown.

The ALL signature program allows yiu to focus on status points rather than free nights. As you already have ~10,000 status points, you only need 4,000 more to reach the 14,000 needed for Platinum. As a plus you will also get 5,000 reward points per month (plus a further bonus after 4 months) that you can use to pay for stays down the track on top of the status points you need for Platinum.
Signature recently also started giving credit stay nights but these probably won’t count. Well maybe they do 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️ - who knows. I wouldn’t rely on that avenue. Focus instead on meeting the status points target not stay nights to get platinum. Follow the link I posted and have a good read. Also there is a separate thread here on Signature.

Cost comparison of Accor Signature Absolute (4000 status points) vs Accor China 2.0 (+10 nights) to hit Platinum:

Accor Signature Absolute
760 Reals/month for 4 months = 3040 Reals (approx AUD820)
You get 25,000 reward points = approx AUD400 value (2000 points = 20 Euro)
Net cost = AUD820-400 = $420

Accor China 2.0
Premium subscription = around 2200RMB (if sale still on) = approx AUD250
Gives 20 nights credit. Don't need the top Supreme subscription which gives 30 nights.
Premium subscription gives 1 free night voucher for use in China/HK/Macau, nominal value say AUD120 if used at Ibis Sheung Wan HK, so net cost could potentially almost be negated if the voucher is used at AUD200 property.
Downside: need to buy through wechat or alipay/fliggy and the potential challenges that go with that.
