Alaska to Qantas Separate Bookings

Has anyone had any experience with an AS separate booking: does OWE / WP status mean anything for baggage allowance on a domestic Y (Main) fare?

If the connection is less than 12 hours they honour the international allowance (ie, if you are self connecting to QF, they will connect bags and you get the QF allowance, even on different PNRs).

Longer than that you get the oneworld benefits. Just beware if you are flying F, AS only give you 50lb (23Kg), unlike AA who give you 70 (32Kg). Even OWE flying F, you're limited.

And SEA is pretty good

Yeah I was there last month. Decor / seating is nice but found the food very Admirals Club-esque.

I also went to the ANC lounge, similar deal. I left the lounge to go to a restaurant for substantial food before returning.
