Alaska cruise then to N.Y.

Hi We are on an Alaska cruise into Vancouver finishing 22 May 2013. We would like to get to New York the day the cruise finishes. The cruise line says no flights before 11.00am the tour company none before 12 and our agent none before 1. Has anyone finished a cruise with Holland America then caught a plane same day at Vancouver airport. There is a direct flight at 14.10 into Newark at 22.22 just wanted to get there earlier if possible.

It would probably be easier to either stay the night in YVR then fly out early the next morning because with a 2222 arrival you won't be doing too much once you get there.

Alternatively fly to Vegas that arvo & have dinner & see a show then fly LAS/NYC the next morning.
