Who out there has experience with using refund credit with Alaska Air (AS)?
Would I need to create an Atmos account?
Can I book for somebody else, or just for me?
Can I book partner airlines, such a QF, including domestic QF (I did a dummy booking on the website and didn't see this as an option)?

I'm asking these questions as I'll likely have to cancel an upcoming HA flight that was booked on the AS website.

The flight in question is HNL-SYD. Both HA and QF run flights about 100 minutes apart with the QF one being earlier (which is preferred). Also, being a PC member, if I get a flight on points (I presume this includes wit a platinum-released seat as well), I can still pick up some SCs. If I take the QF option, I'll also get extra luggage allowances with my status. There also might be a chance that I could get upgraded too.

If anyone has flown the A330, in Y, with each; any notable differences/preferences?

Thanks in advance.
