Alan Joyce CEO of the year

The Centre for Aviation has named QF Chief Executive Alan Joyce as their airline CEO of the year. Joyce also accepted the award for Qantas which won a second award for Turnaround of the Year.

Ethiopian was named 2015 Airline of the Year.

On the face of it he has done a good job, although how much of that is due to good management and not just luck with the oil price I don't know.

IMO that is what CAPA does all the time, take things at face value. I used to read their work but after gaining years of experience in analysis I came to the belief that CAPA papers are not worth the time to read due to the data and methodologies used.
