Wondering what everyone's thoughts are on this QF-FJ connection on separate tickets. Flying in on QF141 landing at 12:50pm and connecting to FJ410 departing at 3:30pm. I know that the MCT for QF-FJ international to international is 1.15h. But any delay to QF141 would mean that I might potentially miss FJ410.
Ideally, since FJ is a oneworld connect airline and QF is a sponsor, I can try and ask QF to through check me but will most likely be politely declined. An alternative is to fly into AKL the night before but that means an extra night stay at AKL.
Thoughts?
