Maybe they will show the 6: 30 am debacle when multiple international flights arrive , the crowds queuing to get through border control as the half the e passport stands don't work and it takes an hour and a half to wait for one’s baggage.
This show writes itself:
First, film arrival at a remote gate that has no-one bringing the airstairs (despite the flight arriving on time on it's daily schedule).
Next, the queue for passort control, where the auto scan doesn't work or is closed so you have to go into an interminable queue to get to the two open counters.
Then, watch the huddled masses at carousel 12, where three A380s worth of bags take 90 mins to arrive (all at once). Film grandmothers being knocked over by jet lagged travellers trying to retrieve their kitchen sinks.
Now, the 2 hours of customs queue mixing "I've brought three suitcases of meat products and plants" with frustrated DYKWIA type who has one backpack and his duty free booze in the same queue. Get to front of line for a three second wave through.
Follow as the confused tourist follows the taxi tout and pays $873 dollars for the ride to Moonee Ponds, while the experienced local dodges the tout lice for a prebooked Uber. Meantime, the budget traveller has commenced their 17 mile walk to the nearest public transport option.
Close: Interview with Airport management describing the high level profits made and how their customers love Melbourne (not realising they mean the city, not the airport).
Episode 2 follows the inexperienced traveller who got on the wrong skybus and ended up in AVV, whilst the DPS bound pax navigate the 17 hour walk through all the duty free only to find their flight has a 7 hour delay (and receive a $4 voucher that buys them a packet of lifesavers) whilst reeling over the price off a lukewarm coffee.....
