Recently I was on board KM Air Malta and there was a prohibition (enforced) of any charging of devices in-flight. Even from the supplied USB port.

What other airlines have restrictions in flight - either total, like KMAM, or just from batteries/power banks, for instance.

All Korean airlines requires power banks to be individually bagged and not used in flight.

I love the little packs they hand out at Korean airports to put your power bank in, so cute. I took two even thought I didnt have a power bank, as was a cute way to package some other gifts i was bringing back.

I used to always travel with a power bank which was powerful enough to fully charge both my tablet and phone from dead to 100% without needing to recharge it. But honestly the battery life of devices has improved so much I dont bother anymore due to the changing rules. i now just pack my wall charger and top up charge in the lounge if worried.

CX don't allow use of power banks in-flight. In fact, power banks are also not permitted to be stowed in the overhead locker.
Based only on my recent experience of not being pulled up about it, CX allows an exception for power banks to be used with medical equipment (CPAP). However, it (the medical device and how it is powered) must be declared to and approved by CX at least 48 hours prior to departure.
