Not sure why they are your favorites......are they all mute?? Doesn't tell me anything the airline and I know it's a misrepresentation!

If everyone at VA looked like models they would probably go and earn more money being models. Or maybe even get paid a few K a piece to make an airline ad. Ive heard that one of the girls in that ad does work for VA, but she's in the background somewhere out of focus so you can't tell she's a regular person.

As someone whose first job was at Australian Airlines, "The way we do the things we do" ads are still a sentimental favorite of mine...

No more ironic than travelling in any part of Asia to see most advertisements featuring Caucasians rather than the locals. Nor have I understood the whole 'I'll get my eyes, nose, lips, underlying bone structure rearranged so I can look less Asian' phenomena so prevalent in that part of the world. Surgeried Asians look....well like the FAs in that ad.

Pretty cool ad. They could have thrown in a female pilot for one of the modern flights to contrast the change from leaving the wife and kids at home at the start, highlighting the changing nature of society.

I know VS was going to take them on but BA wouldn't let them.
