Wondering if anyone knows which aircraft out of QF29 and QF127 is operating QF30 on 30/3/25? Have a family member travelling and noticed the QF29 is delayed but neither the QF30/128 are showing delayed yet? (Maybe that should go in the list of things qantas does poorly?)

Most likely it'll update after QF29 takes off.

At this stage looks like a 3-4 hour delay.

Hopefully. As a side note in 4 hour delay does qantas rebook to CX? Or is that considered a your lucky we got you there within 24 hours of schedule?
Coincidentally I was asked if i was a particular passenger connecting to QF29 this morning as I stepped off a domestic flight. If I'd known about the delay, I would have said yes like the protagonist in the movie The Talented Mr Ripley and take on the identity of the other passenger so I can then find out if QF will rebook to CX.

If it were a case of QF30 being delayed, I'd personally keep my mouth shut and just sit in the Pier until it closed... 👀

As it currently stand QF128 is being formed by the inbound QF127 - QPJ.

If they don't do an aircraft change, then the QF30, as mentioned, will only be delayed once the QF29 is airborne.

QF30 ended up departing more than 6 hours behind schedule
