Have seen this before and it's quite cool (would be even better if it was live but obviously not ideal for security purposes!) - having lived under the north approach to the 3rd runway for 9 months now I can pretty much tell the aircraft type by noise alone

Web track has been around for a few years now,its delayed and does not show military flights, it caught the midair at bankstown between a cessna and a piper in graphic detail, as well as the Cheyanne crash.

I’ve used WebTrak many a time to work out what flight flew over me and made what noise. Though I don’t get too much flying over me that I can hear from inside the house, usually just local traffic.

i love it.
i live under the 3rd runway in the inner west of sydney, and love watching the planes go over, and trying to second guess the timetable.

Interesting website.

Aircraft used to fly over our house in Sydney regularly although this has quitened down recently.

Occasionally I can hear freighters flying over the city in Brisbane after midnight.

Yes, i'll try that one out too. the 16.30 Singapore Airlines flight that went over Haberfield at 16.59 did NOT show up on the map until 1740.
the Cathay pacific flight at 17.07 did NOT show up on the map until 1749.

am over it now.
