I needed to call them today to sort out a problem with a booking and the service was excellent. Problem solved in no time.
 
I have used them a few times and you are right, they are really good, efficient and know their stuff.
 
Agreed - one of the remaining good features of the airline... NZ only have the one call centre AFAIK.. and it's in Auckland. Doesn't matter where you call from you get that Kiwi accent!

I've tried to call them about a booking. Gave up after waiting on hold 15 minutes at a time.

Booking isn't until November, so I'm not in a rush :)
