Air North Increases DRW TSV frequency

Airnorth have announced an additional Darwin-Townsville service beginning 7 November 2012.
The extra service will operate on Wednesday's, departing Darwin in the afternoon at 2.15pm to arrive in Townsville at 5.20pm. The return service will depart Townsville at 6.05pm to arrive in Darwin in the evening at 8.20pm.
Services between Darwin and Townsville commenced operations earlier this year in February with the launch of Airnorth's twice weekly service on Monday and Friday. The close Defence and resource sector ties between the two cities and the convenience for Townsville residents to travel overseas to Asia and beyond via Darwin have been attributed to success of the new route and the announcement of the third service.
