Air Koryo

Apparently 32" standard seat pitch on most of their aircraft and 46" pitch on their business class, one fatal accident since 1950, banned by the EU regulator that allows Air France to continue flying. I'd agree the Il-18 and An-148 and Tu-154 may be a little noisy but all their aircraft regardless of age look immaculately presented in the utube videos and the 'rush' to board the Il-18 is a group of mostly western aviation enthusiasts onto a special charter flight - so no surprise there. I have seen less smiles and grumpier flight attendants, tighter seats and worse/less food on many Australian airlines..... :D

SkyTrax ratings tend to favour amenity over safety.......

Well I still wouldn't fly Air Koryo, and I'm not likely to be going to North Korea (unless of course I'm kidnapped).

Haha, well they did have JW Blue in the country. Or, at least the bottle.

Another record (4th in a row) for this one star airline...

World's worst airline in SkyTrax ranking: Is North Korea's Air Koryo really the world's worst airline?

From this YouTube clip, one must sprint to the airplane to grab the best seats:

When JQ first launched, I used to run across to the B717 to get the exit row. Glad I'm older and wiser now.

Air Koryo also have new aircraft: Air Koryo beefs up fleet with Ukrainian-made planes | NK News - North Korea News

They do well with what they have and can get.
