Not a FF issue, but maybe the appropriate place to post. Minor rant, but nothing too serious.

So I want to look at Air Canada to Cuba. Go to AC web site, type in the from-to and you are immediately directed to "Air Canada Vacations" web site, no questions asked. Sort of like 'Qantas Holidays' I guess.

AC deem anyone who travels to Cuba must be on a vacation. Re-inforced by the fact that it only returns Economy options. After a bit of going forward and back, it gives me the option to 'modify search' and it brings up ability to choose business - but when selected it then ADDs that seat to the economy one it forced you to select in the first place. OK, "remove from basket" works. Are these guys employing QF's IT kids?

I have some questions about T&Cs etc, so I call the number on the web site.

Go through the options; menu about 4 deep and then, and only then, do they tell you that because of the Labor day holiday here in Canada, Air Canada Vacations is closed   I tried it on several options including the basic 'make a reservation' one. No dice.

AC vacations closed because of the Vacation. Very humorous, Air Canada.
