Same has PF. Submitted on the weekend and received the match from EY gold.
So armed with this, if I book a QF flight using my QF FF number on the booking, can I just flash this new card for access to the QP?

You should be able to do exactly that. Although the Lounge Angels are going to become very bewildered by the abundance of shiny new Top Bonus cards
It really is the most valuable status for Australians to have because it allows both QF and VA lounge access!!

This was perfect timing too. I only had EY gold from their status match program a couple of years ago. EY gold expires at the end of this month. I dropped down to QF PS at the start of this year too. Talk about fortuitous timing! All thanks to this amazing forum and the good folk on here.

April is still close to a fortnight away. I don't think delaying is a good idea with these things. I would imagine AB has set itself a limit as to how many matches they will make.
Please report back if some lounge agent denies you entry unless you change the FF number in your booking to AB.
Are you able to provide a link to this benefit?
