AFL to reconsider flight arrangements with Royal Brunei

Somewhat disturbing is that the AFL seemed to have 'no idea' Brunei had introduced such laws.

Im amused that the AFL is trying to be a moral compass on gay rights while they have such a sketchy history in player attitudes towards/treatment of young women and clubs that protect their investments.

A very good point. The AFL is a long, long way from being a moral arbiter on anything.

But... the AFL is starting to change, and this is a good step in the right direction.

That it is not perfect shouldn't mean it overlooks its sponsorship and the message that sponsorship might send. Otherwise we'll never have change.

No, not at all. I certainly hope the AFL is getting their own house in order, though.
