As some of you may have noticed, there was a (minor) upgrade of our software last week.
In addition to the usual bug fixes, minor template enhancements and performance improvements some new functionality was introduced. The most noticable being that blue "Facebook Connect" button on the top of the screen. If you aren't on Facebook/hate Facebook, then simply ignore. Nothing changes for you. If you are on Facebook, clicking on that button gives you the OPTION of linking your AFF and Facebook account so that you can easily post your AFF threads/posts/comments to your Facebook live feed. You can unlink Facebook from AFF at anytime by selecting Settings>Edit Connection>Disconnect. (You can also unlink AFF from Facebook in your Applications settings within Facebook.)
A new feature, which I think many of you will enjoy, is to view the Top Posters of a selected month. You can access this new feature at Quick Links> Top Posters of the Month/Year.
Also, we are now automatically closing all threads after 18 months have elapsed from the date of last post in that thread. If you wish to add to the discussion, you will need to create a new thread. This should help newbies in using AFF, as well as preventing spam and nuisance posts.
Finally, there a new version (Version 1.1) of our popular iPhone application. Full details is available at the App Store. Improvements include support iOS4 multi-tasking, support for Landscape mode, various bug fixes.
