Try Computershare Canada if you would like more issues….Two years of frustration so far.
Yesterday we had APM and Elders both tank so it was nice to be flying and not watching the markets.

I dumped my Elders about 2 weeks ago for around the same price that I bought them 12 months earlier!

Had an update from OPH today so I am happy there.We recently bought OPH under $2.50 with their net asset value in the $2.90 to $3.00 range depending on the day.
Elders recovered quite a bit today without any explanation.
Looks like interest rates falling will be held up by residential real estate rising in price due to a supply of accommodation shortage.

ok Elders got a broker upgrade.

With the drop in the US markets last night we are likely to have a tough day in our stock market today. It looks like our interest rate first cut will be delayed into 2025.

A good CPI figure next time (hopefully) and the bulls will take over again.

We are unsure about our CPI dropping as the price of oil is not going down and all of our State Governments seem to be raising their charges.We need to match wage increases with productivity gains but that has not been happening.
We parked some funds in bank hybrids so that was CBAPM,NABPH,WBCPL that yield between 7% and 8% before tax.Not as secure as a bank term deposit but the yields are ok.
Bought some CQE as that is assets at a discount.6.4% before tax should work out ok.
Base received a takeover bid Which looks ok.

WMI SPP announced today.

Full allocation for SPP applicants and price lowered to 1.418. Happy days.

CPI at 1.0% for the quarter to March 31st makes CPI 3.6% on an annual basis. Of course nothing we buy has gone up by that small amount.
Now WAR has struggled to $1.13 so they are still 12 cents short of breakeven.
Had a slew of quarterly taxes to pay.

Indeed. In the next few weeks I need to find some funds for the Droneshield and Ansell SPP's as well.
