AFF Information Sharing?!

It's an interesting debate and I swing both ways (in the debate)

As a low count poster one could look back over what I've posted and probably not think I've contributed very much. As others have alluded to, for me it can sometimes feel almost intimidating because you know that your knowledge pales in to insignificance compared to some gurus and I feel I don't want to be posting clutter. I know people will say not to worry and just post but it's not in my personality!

Meh, post away... Worst case scenario there is always the edit / delete button, and besides I have every so often see the guru's be wrong about something or not know the answer. Besides it's always interesting reading (respectful) differing opinions...

But also as a low count poster I've tried to refrain from asking questions as well because i do like the fact that this place is a gold mine and putting some time and effort into finding things is more rewarding.

I'm not in the industry not do I travel for work but my love of aviation and flying has made this place a hobby and an enjoyable place to be. The sharing is fantastic but the idea that there's more and that it's hidden excites me even more!

Again, ask away... Just because something was the case a year ago does not mean that it's still valid (on a side note, I'm planning on flying SYD-SIN-LHR all on QF, can anyone help me :D)... Whilst I won't say that there are no stupid questions, because we all know that there are such things, this is certainly a forum which the members typically are not about to bite someone just because they posed a question or stated an opinion...

Struggling to use your Frequent Flyer Points?

Frequent Flyer Concierge takes the hard work out of finding award availability and redeeming your frequent flyer or credit card points for flights.

Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, the Frequent Flyer Concierge team at Frequent Flyer Concierge will help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

This is a subject I have often thought about.however our travel patterns are such that the mistake fares and loopholes are of little use to us as we have planned ahead.

In the main we're the other end of the time spectrum. Last minute bookings will reap a harvest of award seats in F or J on OW airlines via QFF......just means you need to be willing to book a few days/weeks out and not worry about points, SC or the amount of fees you pay.
