AF A350 J Seating Query

Just after some feedback on AF A350 J seating. Haven’t flown long haul AF for many years but snared 2x J award tickets CDG-MRU in March (9x J seats available on some days in March) and looking for the thoughts on best seat selection. Even though we are a couple we both prefer window seats and don’t like the middle pairs. AF want to fleece us $150 per seat to choose seats so I want to make sure I get it right. Any seats to avoid?
The product looks pretty good from footage and reviews I’ve seen so a tad excited about trying a new product

Air France currently has a fleet of twenty three class Airbus A350-941 aircraft, configured 34J 24W 266M. These form part of an order for 45, with the second batch of eighteen (configured 48J 32W 212M) expected to enter service from May 2023
