Hi guys

made silver after returning from the states, now 115 SC from gold, will be 95SC from next week after returning from Perth.
(did my first JASA flight going to perth)

I always fly discount E, I fly to the states next month and thinking to go PE which I have never tried.

I will be gold by just sitting in discount but I have 4 months to get to WP, so i'm thinking of an AA SC run....

so my question is, stick with gold or go for WP?

any advice would be great!

cheers

It depends on whether you think it's worth it or not. F Lounges in SYD/MEL are great, premium desk for telephone inquiries, better seating allocation available.
Can get to WP from SG easily on AA ( dependent on starting point) if the costs are acceptable to you.

Perhaps most relevant issue is whether you plan to fly much in the following year. That's when you'll make use of the benefits - and get addicted :p.

The key benefits for Plat are really driven by whether you internationally I think - sure the seats are a little better domestically but the F lounges, better upgrade chances and higher earning really start to count n the longer hauls.

I will fly to the states a few more times this year and europe but, will fly LHR - BOS/JFK alot maybe 5 times...

I think you have already made up your mind. :)

It is most certainly worth it, when you have international flights on the cards.
