I've seen this offered from a few sources. I'm pretty sure the original though was JAL They decided it was a good way to offload some assets and generate cash flow. Here we go JAL Puts First Class Champagnes On Sale

Interesting that JAL still has Salon in stock since they moved to replace it with LR Cristal in F back in 2018.

I will cherish all the fond memories of drinking Salon onboard JAL. The best champagne I ever had by a mile.

When they started Cristal a few years ago they still had Salon, depending on the route. I think it was off the menu for a while before being brought back. Salon was on ex-Japan flights from memory.

How does Dom rate from 2010? I was going to buy a bottle earlier this year but decided to pass given it doesn't look like it was a great year, any comments on this vintage?

To drink now, pass. Acidity was very prominant, much more so than 09. Despite concerns of a bad 2010 vintage, it's a pretty solid Dom - built to age.

Hello, not really champagne, but australian sparkling, I have a bottle of Arras late disgorged (Arras release 20th Anniversary Sparkling)
Unfortunately I just don't like sparkling I feel like it's wasted, any idea where I could sell it (or ideally swap it for a fancy red)
Langtons?

Though I wouldn't get hopes up for the RRP value, the wine was clearanced at DMs for $230ish.

Even after all the stacked discounts I still think Dom is overpriced. Wasn’t too impressed by the 2009 (didn’t try the 2010). Easy pass for me, particularly after doubling down on the recent Bollinger LGA deal on VM (received the bottles today).

Anyone privy to any deals or decent regular pricing on Krug? Am needing to pick up a bottle or two for a special occasion. Can be vintage or NV. Obviously my expectations are firmly managed as to what sort of deals I'm likely to find...

What do you define as a decent price for Krug?
