Veuve on sale at Dans, someone must've had it cheaper as they've lowered the price at bit. $52.80 in any six (minus your usual).
Where did you buy at that price?Just picked up a six pack of Veuve NV @ $43 per bottle delivered (less PricePal rebate brings it down to just under $41/bt)

It is from a company whose name is a plural and starts with a C.
Gotcha thinking CE?
Have Moët and Billecart so Veuve might be a good balance.
I have too much Champers at moment cove - I need to deplete stock - Veuve is Cruiserette's fave - if I buy some now her and her dodgy friends will clean that out before the older Moët, Mumm, Ayala, Billie, Taitt gets cleaned out - I'll wait til cellar empty me tinks!
They also believe themselves as masters at what they do, but I buy rarely from them...
Other auction houses are Buy Wine | Sterling Wine Auctions and Wine Auctions of private cellars | Wickmans Fine WineI have a heap of Moet and Moet Ice cases left over from a party we over catered for.
I know this thread is mainly about enjoying champagne, but has anyone used Langtons to sell champagne before? Or perhaps point me to somewhere to sell the excess, I am just a bit cautious about selling it on gumtree etc because of liquor laws.
Appreciate any advice.
Cheers

Trying a new champagne tonight. Veuve Fourny & Fils Cuvée Blanc de Blancs Vertus Premier Cru NV
Picked up a case from the 'Fo way back.
Friday night's not really champagne night in the Shrek house but after the week I've had I prescribed myself some.
Fine bead, very fruit driven. Apples, citrus (++ on the citrus), with a long, long flinty finish.
Quite delightful. Does not need food but would be great with some goats cheese canapés (sadly I don't pay Shrek enough and he's refusing to make me any).
My only regret is that I didn't buy two cases !

I was booked to go to the Perth Champagne Club's Veuve Fourny tasting last week but it was cancelled I do have a bottle of the B de B winging its way to me at the moment though - good to hear it's a solid drop!

Depending on where you are located, one of those might be a better option.
