Hi All
Had dinner with some friends last night who have just bought J Class tickets and return to Paris on Cathay Pacific in August.

Both are QFF Gold members but the $ price of the return ticket on Cathay was better than Qantas and they did not think or know about booking a JASA.

I do not believe that they are members of Marco Polo or Asia Miles so I am looking for some advice to benefit them. Should they join the Marco Polo programme/ Asia Miles to earn some points or are they able to credit any points earnt on these flights back to their QFF accounts. What are the best options. They have a few days stop over in Hong Kong too and again not sure if they are affiliated to any hotel programmes. Thanks in advance :)

Credit to Qantas, CX J (long haul) is a great product and they may as well continue to contribute to their current FF program.

CX fare codes CDIJ will get points and SCs.

Agree with Hvr. Credit to existing QFF account. Crediting to a new MP or AM membership risks the points being orphaned if they don't regularly travel on CX.
