AFF Gold member so i dont usually see adverts. Not sure what control you have as presumably are driven by google?

Logged in today on a different computer - surprised to see the following (before logging in), not sure if that's the advert you want appearing on AFF? Not a biggie in the scheme of things but i ues if you have control you might consider whether you do / dont want.

As you say, you saw the ads before you logged. Once logged in, our GOLD and SILVER members get a better viewing experience by not seeing ads. (I realise that some ads do display on the Community Home Page due to technical constraints).

Regarding the nature of the ad you saw: We use Google Adwords to back-fill the ad spots we haven't sold, so we don't individually vet them. We only display ads which Google deem to be acceptable.

Ok thanks. That's not a great ad to pop up on a work computer......

Yes! I've had 2 versions of that ad pop up when logging in from work and just remembered about it now when it appeared again. Very surprised to see that content.
