After putting up with the ads for ages, decided to upgrade and support the community.

The upgrade is fantastic and I should have done it sooner:!:

If you're thinking of upgrading to Silver or Gold - do it! Totally worth the minimal expense and you'll be supporting the site that supports you.

Yeah, just did the same thing (lashed out and went for Gold) and couldn't be happier.

The only thing I'm not totally happy with is the automatic annual renewal.

Thanks for the support - am pleased you are happy with the upgrade!

Regarding your point:

The only thing I'm not totally happy with is the automatic annual renewal.

simply cancel your Paypal subscription (by logging into your Paypal Account). That stops any future payments. At the end of the year when your current GOLD or SILVER subscription expires, your AFF membership will revert back to REGULAR.

If you want to continue with GOLD/SILVER after, simply subscribe again using the same link. This will create a new Paypal subscription and upgrade your account for another year.

Hope this helps...
