Can anyone think of a way of going to GUM and maximising QF FF points - I'm finding Korean Air, United and Philipine Air, but no much else.
If I go, I'd like to score the maximum points and SC's.

You'd need to get as close as you can before switching to another carrier, so perhaps the Philippines is the closest, and probably offers a nicely priced flight? You could then take a QF flight via SYD, but as you want points a JASA wouldn't be what you're after I take it ;)

I can think of a way to get to Guam incredibly cheaply if you are willing to forego SCs and points......

You could do QF ADL/xSYD/NRT return on QF on a paid fare or ditto ADL/xOOL or CNS/NRT return on JQ specials when they come out from time to time.

A Classic/Partner Award one way on JL NRT/GUM is 20,000 points for why ("T") class or 38,000 points in J ("U") class plus fees/taxes AUD135.20 plus AUD60.00 or 6,000 point assistance fee for phone bookings as it cannot be booked online.

You may be able to burn some Velocity points for a DL redemption NRT/GUM also but not sure how much.

If you had a lazy 30K points sitting in your US DM account you could fly there & back in J plus a couple of hundred in taxes which is a pretty good deal however won't earn you any points of course as it's award travel.
