Hey all, this is my first post so go easy on me lol.

Just wanted to ask, is it worth paying an additional $573 to be able to get 38000 Qantas Points?

That's 1.5 cents a point which is expensive, so the obvious answer to your question is "no".
But it also depends on the use you intend to put them to.

Depends on how you plan on using them.

eg. That amount of points will get you a Syd to Perth J fare. Not to shabby for $573 considering cash price is around $2.5K.

That's generally more than what I would usually be prepared to pay but YMMV.

Thanks for the response guys! I will not go ahead with this as it sounds rather expensive and I do not have plans on how I'm gonna use them yet. Cheers.

At 60k for a one way business class award Australia to Hong Kong, that’s actually not a bad price. But as others have said, depends what you want to use those points for.
