I am Platinum (sadly only for another 3 months) and have a booking that was made last year for the return flight from Sydney to Melbourne in March 2026 with wife and mother in EconomyX. We are in Sydney for a family event.
At the time the booking was made one of my sons who lives in France with his wife was a no show for the family event but now they can attend. I made the booking for them on my login and paid for the tickets in their name.. Their seats are in the back half of the plane.
My question is what what would the chances be if i made contact with Virgin to have them added to my booking so that seats could be changed to EconomyX without charge.
