Having ordered a backdated activity statement from QANTAS I now have pages of info to add to my excel sheet. Luckily it brings with it some interesting facts. Joined QFF August 1999 aged 8, became gold in December 2003, obtained Platinum in December 2005, down to Gold in March 2009, lifetime Silver in February 2010.

How many people here have spreadsheets of travel and did you bother to back date it for previous flights prior to starting the spreadsheet. Also what information do you put in it?

Backdated activity statement? Now there's one to fill in the blanks for my spreadsheet.

Greg.

Sent from my iPhone using Aust Freq Fly app

I had a current spreadsheet that I started just after I got started on more serious flying in 2006 so I back dated a few. I then left the USB on which it was in the BA F lounge at T3 LHR... Since then I have been able to find some earlier versions of the spreadsheet and have reconstructed the spreadsheet to give a semi accurate view of flights taken since May 2006. This involved getting the past twelve months data from QF and then the two years prior to that from a combination of my outlook diary and trips reports on here...

How did you get your backdated statement?

Is anyone willing to share their spreadsheet? Blank of course. I would be happy with a little as a screen shot to see how you have set it up.

Cheers.

It is possible to go back in time with your online activity statements. Get a month's activity statement displayed, then go the URL for it and just fiddle the month: e.g. youractivity/yourActivity?monthChoice=Apr11 - change Apr11 to the mmmyy you want and hit enter. I've only gone back a couple of years, so do not know how far back it will work for.

Thanks to another AFFer who told me this (mwenenzi perhaps)?

I have uploaded mine - no details hidden - not sure what you could do with that info anyway.

Some of the headings are a bit covered by the filters - sorry about that.

Calc Scs - this is used for a bit of forecasting to see the impact of different options of travel.

QF year - just to make sure I can compare qantas periods (for loyalty bonus points and qualification) vs. calendar year (that normal people work)

Dest Pairs - again a bit of forecasting to calculate points to be earned based on a set of 2285 potential OW paired cities that I could travel between (from Mileage Monkey)

ghest c - this is the "highest cabin" question for me to assess what proportion of flights I have been upgraded - question being whether I was in the highest cabin by my own volition (paid or points upgrades) or whether the airline had the opportunity to upgrade me (and most likely did not).

Certainly works for 2001 which was when I joined QFF. I then was able to hit "next transactions" and get some 2006 transactions. Month by month is a slow process...

Here is a bit of mine, Was going to go with the SC's and Points but I am not too fussed about those back dated, more interested in KM's flown and number of flights and destinations. Only SCs I care about are future ones and when I will hit Lifetime Gold.

Only part deleted from this is some of the notes where I occasionally put who paid for the flight (if not me), if it was a JASA or Classic Award, if I got an upgrade and if so how, whom I traveled with and sometimes why etc.

I'm not having any luck with going past 13 months either.

Thanks for the spreadsheets, Now I'll get to work...

Cheers.

I also went on to my gmail and by searching Itinerary, Departure, QANTAS, Regional Express, etc was able to find a lot of flights.

Doesn't look like that trick works any more :(

Fiddly, but it does (for me, anyway - just got Dec 2001 showing). As long as you display a month from the past (i.e. not the current one) you should get a long URL e.g.

https://www.qantas.com.au/fflyer/do/dyns/auth/youractivity/yourActivity?monthChoice=Jan12&sortMethod=sortByDate&displayAction=month&statementEarliestDate=18Feb12&statementLatestDate=30Apr12

and just change the bolded mmmyy to reflect what you want, and as I say it worked OK for me. If I start then pressing NEXT or PREVIOUS txns, it may start to get picky, and show the screen you have displayed.

It worked for me for 2001 - 2006 month by month - I really should get on with some work...

That worked... I had to change the month each time in the address bar but now I have all my flights since joining QFF.

Thanks for you're help!

:)

Intersting, I can get the month display to change, but its not showing transactions I *know* occurred in that period.

I am not 100% convinced of the accuracy either as I know I had more QF flights in that period - also some flights I upgraded haven't appeared.

Interesting...I'll have to check some months I where I know the activity. Bloody technology!
