Re: Jetstar codes

Some of those codes and more are explained in this Jetstar document. http://www.jetstar.com/au/en/tradepopup/~/_media/BD05DD0E6216445BA528695ACB44970B.pdf

e.g.
The following ancillary’s need to be booked through the call centre:

For all flights:

Excess baggage (xb05, xb10, xb20)

Extra leg room (legx)

Upfront seat (upfx)

Car seat (chst)

For international a330 only:

Re: Jetstar codes

I had a new one today - V05A, which I worked out was for the $5AUD "meal/snack/drinks" voucher included in my booking. Covered the cost of a coffee and muffin.

Jetstar boarding pass acronyms?

Hi folks

just printed my BP for Wednesday (MEL-SYD as the first leg to HNL) and have the following codes:

LEGX - extra legroom?
BA30 - ??
CB20 - ??
EXIT - ? eligible for exit row?
HVC - ??
QFFP - Qantas FF program or Platinum?
V05A - ???
WCID - Web check in domestic

Previous threads have shed some light on some of the codes but can't find anything about others. Can anyone shed any light?

cheers
Rebekka

HVC we believe is high value customer
V05A means you have a $5 food voucher available for the flight as per the plus bundle.
BA30 or CB20 I assume may be to do with your baggage allowace but dont know

Good to see I'm being appreciated!

Makes sense that BA30 would be baggage, as I have a 30kg baggage allowance. CB20 might be cabin baggage 20kg as I'm transferring to an international "business class" jetstar flight where that's the entitlement?

yes that would be correct, you get 2 x 10kg for intl business class fares

This thread will be merged with existing threads on the same topic. Look up-thread for more ...

Would it be worth/is it possible to do an initial post on the thread, or sticky at the top of the Jetstar forum, with all the known acronyms?

I have noticed "HVC" on my JQ boarding passes as of late..... interesting new Code now added onto boarding passes.

Interesting observation if the code does stand for "High Value Customer" I must say.

Can we expect a greeting from the CSM perhaps??

Ive heard it has happened before but not to me

I've had HVC on my last couple of JQ BP's.
I think we will see some improvements to status recognition where it's no cost to JQ.

I got this on my and my friend's boarding pass today. We are both Bronze FF's, both payed +Bundle, selected our seats, I have 1 bag to check in, friend doesn't.

I can't think of what ACWF would stand for :/
