Hi All, sorry this is kinda new to me. I recently bought A+ subscription. If I buy china 2.0, they will likely not add the nights on top is what I am reading or it caps out at 50, is that right, esp if you have an amex? But in my case reading from the accor post below and this forum, if I buy china 2.0 the bonus nights won't be added on top of my 30nights?

Although in practice, the AccorPlus China hack still works apparently provided you buy it after the regular Accor Plus. Mind you, I haven't tried this.

Also curious to know if this is the case, ie make sure you only pay for 20 nights from AP China (after getting 30 nights from AP regular) - anyone willing to try? ;-)

Possible that it wil still work but at the end of the day Accor want to cap it at 30 so I’d expect all loop holes to closed eventually.

While it's true that it can stop working at any time I also think that many will discourage you from doing it. They don't like it when they earn status the hard way while others take shortcuts, which is understandable.a

Accor has had various loopholes, fast tracks and status matches since 2007, so status is easy to get for a long time. Wasn’t long ago $60 bought you gold with the paid cards. We have been told any program will limit to a max 30 night credit and by all reports China has not got that block (it’s coming) but as the most expensive option it’s a lot of money unless you can utilise the benefits in China, where room rates are typically $100 or less.

having a lot of trouble logging into my accor account on wechat prior to purchasing the card. I haven't tried to purchase first and login at checkout - is that an option?

continually getting 'internal server error' tried password, mobile, verification codes... none work

Nothing either of these two nights at any hotel in HK, I searched the two nights separately.

1 night on 12th of October

3 Options. All showing 0 HKG with a All China free night voucher:

- ibis Hong Kong Central & Sheung Wan (for context only city location, all explorer rate is AU$173)
- The Silveri Hotel Hong Kong (best option of the choices, all explorer rate is AU$363)
- Novotel City Gate (across the road from The Silveri, all explorer rate is AU$281)

I haven't stayed at the Ibis but have the The Silveri and Novotel. Given they are right next to each other the The Silveri is better and would be my pick but if wanting somewhere in town then the Ibis is the only choice.

As Accor platinum I got a solid upgrade at The Silveri, in lounge check in (with the lounge open all day including beer/wine all day) and was able to use two free night vouchers back to back. Just one thing to note is the Novotel couldn't care that I was using an All China free night voucher or if I had the paid card whereas The Silveri wanted to see my card on the wechat app during check in so needed to get it open and show them.

From experience searching you tend to only find those three hotels in HK on offer.

DELUXE FAMILY ROOM - 2 Queen Size Beds​

Is it possible to book this and pay the difference?​

I'm accor diamond so a lot of the benefits on the supreme card I already have, plus status nights dont help me requalify for diamond

No it'd default to using one of the other vouchers - like the 50% off voucher that you'd also get. IMO the card's offers aren't that easy to use if you're travelling with family. Unless you want to book two rooms with the free night vouchers. I recall doing that before. Seems like you're better off waiting for a China sale which comes around fairly often and just booking normally? Tho I feel the properties in Hong Kong are quite weak for the ALL group ever since Pullman Park Lane left.
