Different availability and often much better, for example the MGallery was coming up in A+ China meanwhile nothing as a StayPlus.

Yes, you’ll need to use the WeChat app for Accor+ China to redeem the voucher. Only those with an active subscription and voucher can check it for you if you haven’t purchased it yet.

Not so much now they have capped the nights that count towards status.

This depends on where you are cycle wise, if your Accor China sits before Accor plus then it’s still possible for now to go over the 30. Had 10 from earlier on an account as the Accor plus bonus and then bought the Chinese program this week which credited the 30 meaning 40 total this year.

I just rejoined Accor Plus yesterday and was credited 20 nights rather than 30 as they picked up my 10 night credit from my Ibis card

This depends on where you are cycle wise, if your Accor China sits before Accor plus then it’s still possible for now to go over the 30. Had 10 from earlier on an account as the Accor plus bonus and then bought the Chinese program this week which credited the 30 meaning 40 total this year.

You’d be lucky for this to be counted as anything more than 30 nights though, when 2026 qualification is calculated for everyone in January

The cost of rmb2288 is around aud485 currently, which is more than what the 2 included free nights vouchers are worth (and assuming all the other included vouchers have minimal/zero value).

Other vouchers aren't worth nothing. The half price and 30% off has reasonable value too.

So at this point in time should we buy AccorChina first then Accor Explorer? Or just skip straight to Explorer?

Staff are generally quite helpful in navigating the app and choosing the best vouchers for use.

Adding my experience with crediting of Accor China status nights.

I have a Accor Plus renewal date after 1 Oct 2025 change. On 1 Oct 2025, I was credited 10 bonus nights, presumably to bridge the gap between old 20 nights and new 30 nights with the changeover.

Accor Plus (Explorer+) renewed in November, got 30 nights for the renewal.

Took up the mid-tier Accor China card in December, got 20 nights, which took me over the 60 nights threshold and the status was instantly updated to Platinum on my ALL app.

ALL app shows status valid until 31/12/2026.
(although there may be a risk it will get wound back if Accor will enforce the max 30/50 bonus nights after 1/1/2026??)

However, I still got the benefit of the 2 SNU from reaching Platinum.

All up, not bad for CNY 1188 + 3% cost for Accor China, and even better if retain Platinum in 2026!
