Seems Accor has a new(?) product in China. This is only for mainland china, HK and Macau apparently and the benefits don't extend past that.

Regular A+ will also have reduced benefits (like no free night availability) and potentially no 50% dining (to be confirmed).

Whats interesting is for now they're giving away 30 status nights upon sign-up which costs 2388RMB (~$510 AUD). Included are 2 stay nights, 1 free breakfast, some 50% off vouchers and 75% off vouchers.

There's also a version that costs 1388RMB (~$300) for 20 status nights and 1 free stay etc.

Promotion ends at the end of April and this is stackable ontop of normal A+ status nights (you could in theory pay for 50 status nights without having stayed anywhere).

Might be a bit troublesome to sort out if you don't want to touch WeChat as currently thats the only way to sign up that I know of, but if you travel to China or HK, this might be of use.

Accor Plus China (although I though they had moved to the ALL Plus branding, so it is ALL Plus China) split from the Accor Plus program last year. The communication at the time was:

From the 1st of October 2023, as an Accor Plus member, you will no longer be able to use your Stay Plus complimentary room night benefit at Accor hotels in Mainland China.

You will however continue to enjoy your exclusive Accor Plus member rate and Accor Plus dining benefits at participating hotels in Mainland China.

Your Stay Plus complimentary night benefit can still be enjoyed in Hong Kong China, Macau China and Taiwan China as well as 19 more countries across Asia Pacific.

Ah ok, i somehow missed that. Still this is an interesting way to get ALL plat for pretty cheap and without staying much if thats what you want to do.

Basically 50 stay nights for 2 A+ programs this year.

For the record, status nights came instantly into my ALL. I have a boarload of discount vouchers now of which I'm only planning on using some for now. Perhaps ill donate once i work out if i have any more trips to China over the next 12 months.

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

Interesting the direction this is going. While I get the A+ product has always been regional, it seems that region is being split up further. What I'm getting at is... Might we end up having to pay for multiple ALL Plus subscriptions in future, one for Australia, one for Asia, etc. with the benefit of pooling of stay plus / status nights being the saving grace?

From Accor's perspective it would fix the issue you have today where people buy A+ from Pacific/SEA countries for less than the local subscription, because benefits would only apply to the market it was purchased in.
