Accor stays to Qantas Points discrepancies?

Hey all, just wondering if anyone has had a similar problem that I've got or has an explanation.

I'm currently Accor Plus Platinum and only earlier this year did I begin focusing on QFF points, mostly as a result of the Accor and Qantas partnership.

So supposedly the earn rate for the partnership is 3 QFF points per dollar spent at Asia Pacific hotels. Yet looking at what I've been credited for about 20 of my most recent stays, it seems I'm always short on qantas points. Sometimes the discrepancy is maybe 30 or so points, anywhere up to 400, averaging around 100 below what I would expect to accrue. To clarify this is the Qantas points, not the Accor reward points.

Cheers!

Are you excluding taxes from your calculation?

Rather than starting another thread, anyone else see a discrepancy - no points posting to QF after an Accor stay?

I stayed at the MEL Novotel (RH rate) early Jan and still no QF points (they usually post a few days after they appear in your ALL account).

Also waiting on my points from my stay at the Pullman in Mascot in late December (also on a RHR) so (sorta, kinda) glad to know it's not just me. Will wait out the six weeks then pester Accor and/or Qantas if they haven't shown up.

Have your QFF points been credited? It can take a few days after your ALL points are credited but not as long as weeks.
If not, get in touch with the Accor Cust Care team not the QFF team since your bookings were made through Accor.
The QFF points for Accor stays are actually posted by the Accor Loyalty team when they post your Accor ALL points. It should have been done at the same time. The ALL points will credit a few days after checkout and the QFF points a few days after that. It's probably an automated process with the Loyalty team there to ensure it's all running smoothly and to attend to issues.
The Accor Cust Care team is rather hit and miss. I had to call them 7 time (was unlucky to get the same unhelpful Indian rep twice) before I reached one (Manila call centre) who got it sorted for me.

Not yet.

But the disclaimer says the points can take up to six weeks to drop, so I'm waiting for a couple more weeks as I suspect I'll just be told to wait if I file an enquiry before then.

Up to you, that would be honourable. I don't have the patience or calm head to wait that long.

It’s possibly a system issue as there’s a few of us waiting.

I’ll email in due course. Pretty minor amount.

On Tuesday morning, lodged an online customer care form linked to the base stay (from 2/3 Jan) with a note stating I didn’t receive the bonus QFF points. The system tells you that the stay has been credited already to ALL (which it is has) but then lets you submit.

I received and auto generated acknowledgement and then shortly thereafter a more specific email confirming the claim relates to missing QFF points (that email may have been AI generated but it was pretty good).

Overnight received a further email stating

“Following your enquiry regarding the missing QANTAS Frequent Flyer bonus points for your recent stay, our technical team has identified and resolved the issue that was preventing the points from being credited correctly.
We have reprocessed your stay in accordance with the procedures, and we can confirm that the bonus points have now been successfully credited.”
Which does suggest some system issue that’s probably affecting a few of us.

Anyway, I haven’t actually received the points yet. They may turn up later today or tomorrow.

I noticed some points post to Qantas for Accor stay on 23-Jan and also accor points post for qantas fligths taken on 22-Jan on 27-Jan. Expect t see ore poitns for other qantas flights on 23 and 26 to post before the end of the week.

QFF -> ALL is working as usual for me (flights on 2 & 3 Jan came across ok). Although, I’m due some more from 22 & 23 Jan - which should be posting very soon - one just landed in my QBR account - which might be on the same cycle).

ALL -> QFF seemed to hit a speed bump sometime in Dec thru early Jan for some of us. A stay for me early Dec posted as normal (4 or 5 days later) but 2 Jan hadn’t posted after 3+ weeks.

Good to read they've fixed the issue for you in very good time. Suggests they have had quite a few claims before yours and is aware of the system issue.
Unlikely to see the ALL stay points in QF today though. It usually takes a couple of days after Accor posts the QF points for it to hit your QFF a/c (some sort of batch rather than real time processing in play maybe).

Thanks for the update - will fire off an enquiry now.

I just noticed in my ALL account that they’ve reposted the underlying stay a second time (and manually deducted one set of points/nights). So hopefully that’ll trigger the QFF bonus in due course.
