Weighing up the option also. If free night is worth $250, qff points cost 1.5c each. Would require some pretty frequent bookings to make it attractive. I’m already gold due to recent status match and always try and get away from the hotel for dinner. I stay 10-15 nights in Accor properties in AU, but their regional properties (Tamworth/Goulburn/Ballarat etc) are starting to ask a huge premium.

Can you only search for locations/dates as a member?

Routinely 10% in AU.

I’ve recently had reason to search a number of places in EU and best I’ve seen is 5%.

But they do offer “red hot room” reasonably frequently in APAC and these seem to genuinely be 50% off the rack rate. It’s like any form of yield management though, always on nights with low demand.

Yes, when logged in you’ll see a rage of rates for each room, one of which will be the Accor Plus rate (usually first and cheapest).

Edit: as an example, RHR sale is currently on. It’s covering all of APAC and those are the current AU options:

That may just be a specific promo.

I threw in a random three night stay in Nov, selected Melbourne, and I get Pullman as well as Mantra.

I recently dropped to Silver but was going to just buy Ibis Business for €90 (or less). Although IB is changing around 20 something of March.

Will A+ purchased this month mean Gold through to end of 2024?
