With QF continuing to fly to Norfolk, I thought I would start a thread for members to share their comments and recommendations on places to stay, or avoid, on Norfolk Island. What's good value, what isn't, etc.?

We stayed here as it was bookable with my (expiring) Amex Travel credit...it was about 10 min drive from town...not an issue if you have a car which you should have to explore the Island... they offer packages that include car rental. Accommodation was fine but not luxurious. Wifi with limited data was available but was slow so I used the 4G from the Norfolk Telecom SIM card I bought. There was a self contained kitchen to prepare meals if you wished :)

We really liked the place we stayed in last year- King Tide house at Point Vincent. Ocean views, sunsets and the returning shearwaters at night. It is on Airbnb but we got it $100 cheaper per night through our TA with a car thrown in .

Years ago we stayed at 3 different apartments above Kingston. Great views over Kingston and Phillip Island.

There’s quite a few on AirBnB but check carefully their cancellation policies. Many were not particularly Covid cancellation friendly.

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.
