Hi All,

Just wondering, is it possible to access the SQ Lounge in Melbourne as a United Premier Gold status while flying AirNZ?

My Velocity FF number will be on my boarding pass. (Wow this gets complicated).

Any advice very welcome :) Flying tonight! Otherwise I will just give it a go and update the thread.

Thanks. I'll duck home now and grab my UA gold card and give it a try. I've been to the Koru lounge in MEL before so thought I'd try SQ for a change.

Just be aware that they do close between some departures.

General rule IIRC is 3 hrs before SQ departures, so open around 8am-11am, 1:30pm-7pm, 10pm-1am or thereabouts (just from memory of flight departure times, maybe wrong +/- half and hour.

That sounds about right to me

Thanks Danger. That was the thread I was looking for, but couldn't find.

In the end there were no lounge dragons at the Krisflyer lounge. For over 5 minutes. Me and another guy just walked in in frustration, sat down and made ourselves at home. Didn't try on the way back - New AirNZ lounge in AKL is really beautiful.
