Probably a quick and easy question for the knowledgable but Google never seems to be as good these days finding out things like this. (Maybe I am not looking hard enough).

Can I access the Melbourne Qantas Business Lounge if flying to Singapore on a flight booked with Qantas points through their website but the flight code is an EK?

Additionally, can I access the Changi lounge on the way home if flying on a 3K flight code? All booked through the Qantas website with points.

I am a Qantas Club member but I am guessing no as it says Qantas or Jetstar flight number on the lounge access website (which I assume means QF or JQ flight codes). Although seems kinda dumb if I can't since I am kinda paying them the money (sort of).

Thanks!

As I understand it, and assuming you're in economy, then no access in MEL on EK code.
But yes in SIN on 3K, providing the lounge is actually open at the time.

Short answer is no, unless you are flying J. Saying that, you can always ask politely and see what happens....
