Hi all;
Recently attaining WP status I have a flight on JQ coming up and would like to know if i can utilise the J Dom Lounge before this departure?
I haven't checked it out before (and probably wont be flying SYD dom for a while on QF), so hence the question. MEL is easy as they're both in the same place.

From the QF Website:

Access to the Qantas Domestic Business Lounge

Member Type Qantas Domestic Business Lounge
platinum card
Platinum Member's next onward flight that day must be on a QF, BA or JQ flight number. Member and 2 guests. Guests do not need to be travelling.

Any advice / answers appreciated.

You meet the criteria, so yes, you can access the lounge.
Departure terminal is irrelevant.

QF Platinums have had anytime access to the business lounges, at least, in SYD and BNE for over a year now.

Assuming security is not very busy in T2 then around 15 minutes should be enough time to get from T3 business lounge to furthest gates gates at T2. Probably best to use the subway between the 2 terminals than dodging the taxi drivers upstairs.
