A good deal in October and November on certain dates for AKL - YYC and some other airports in Canada, including Edmonton. Toronto is about $300 more. Probably won't be overly useful for most people, but if you have to travel to Canada/US soonish then it might be worth looking at.
Outbound is AKL-YVR-SFO-YYC, with AKL-YVR in PE (A class), YVR-SFO in full fare Economy (B class), and SFO-YYC in full fare economy (B class). Return is YYC-YVR-AKL, with YYC-YVR in full fare economy (B Class) and YVR-AKL in PE (A class).
Interestingly, the Air Canada operated Economy Class flights (YVR-SFO and YYC-YVR) allow you to select Main Cabin Extra for no charge.
You would earn 16,334 Velocity Points and 320 Status Credits, working out to be just over $5.26 per SC.
