Flight Aware shows the diversion: Air Canada (AC) #34

No news on the cause though.

Medical condition reported. Lucky they didn't get too far off the coast before the decision was made to turn back.

I saw that bird on the BNE tax-way around 16:30 hrs Friday ....... not a regular sight in Brissy - the different plumage for these parts turned a few heads
