I can't see any other reports at this stage other than the breaking news banner ABC News (Australian Broadcasting Corporation)

ABOUT 100 people at Melbourne Airport have been evacuated after a gas leak.
Airport management said the incident occurred as part of construction work outside Terminal 4, which is home to budget carrier TigerAir.
Spokeswoman Anna Gillett said about 100 people within the terminal and surrounding area had been evacuated.
MFB spokesman Howard Bishop said firefighters were called to the airport about 11.10am.
He said two crews were at the scene along with a commander and airport staff.
He said passengers in the terminal had been evacuated and urged anyone who did not need to be in the area to stay away.
More to come.

I heard a report on radio that the leak occurred near T4 (Tiger). A couple of comments came to mind but were quickly repressed. :o

I'm heading to the airport shortly to pick up a friend... Hope traffic is not affected!
