Hi Brains Trust

Have searched for but can not find an answer. I have just had ticketed a P class AAdvantage Award on QF1 SYD-LHR. I don't seem to be able to lock in seat requests ( QF have "noted" my preferences for a particular seat). Is there a way to get this seat confirmed?

Also does anyone know if limousine airport transfers are available for award bookings?

Thanks in advance

You need to ask AA for your Qantas booking reference, or try using the AA reference via "Manage Your Booking" on the QF front page.

In theory no CD, in practice sometimes it sticks.

Mine stuck also. Worth a try.

I have a QF F BNE-MEL-LHR booking for Christmas day, and didn't seem to be able to even select it in the manage booking section? Any tips? Would I get CD (I know it's not meant to be applicable) in BNE?

Maybe call AA and get the PNR for Qantas?

Wow thanks for the quick response. I have the QF PNR, have selected a seat but the request is "noted". Guess it will be fingers crossed.

Another method to select your seat and access your booking is to log into your QFF account and the go to the section 'Your Bookings'.

In there you will see the line Booking Not Listed? And a link to the MMB page.

When you add your PNR in on this MMB page it should attach your booking to your QFF number (including your Status that might allow for better seat selection, especially if CL or P1).

If you try selecting your seats it should hold from this point just like a regular QF Booking would.

I always attach my AA bookings to QF this way as the info is always at hand just by logging into my QFF account

Got that but can't see where CD is? Even a greyed-out option..?

If CD doesn't show up on an 001 (AA) booking on the QF site there is really not much you can to change it since Qantas made booking fairer and simpler!

I do suggest logging into your QFF account first so that it links to your AA booking as described above but if they doesn't bring up a CD option then you could well be out of luck. :o
