Nice summation but it's never that simple.

I have AUD9,990 in my wallet and my wallet, passport and phone are in my carry on in the overhead bin. As long as I don't slow anyone down why would I leave those possessions for someone to scavenge? And yes that leads to a different discussion.

By the way that's not me but it could happen to anyone. Not everyone knows the safety procedures and a lot of people don't speak or even understand English.
