Hi all,
I'm looking to book a one-way flight from LA (LAX) to Vancouver (YVR) in September, First Class using American Airlines (although any One World carrier will do, to earn against my Qantas FF)
The AA website shows no availability for Business class (no First option) and all flights offered are connecting through intermediate airports.
Searching on a site such as Expedia shows a suitable flight AA6916, for US$500, first class nonstop "operated by Alaska Airlines"
- why wouldn't AA's site offer this? Is there a trick to finding codeshare flights?
- if I booked and travelled this fare, as an AA flight number would it earn me points on my Qantas FF?
Thanks flyers
