I'm trying to book a one-way F (=J) AA multi-city from LAS to LGA via DFW and CLT: I found a reasonable $1767 fare on Google Flights and "selected" to book on AA (no other option available). I fill in passenger details then click "proceed" and receive this error message
"You can't book connecting flights as individual flight segments. Please change your flight search".

I don't understand this error message: They're three non-stop flights (LAS-DFW, DFW-CLT,CLT-LGA) and the stopovers well exceed MCTs.
Advice please on how to proceed to book this flight.

I put in the flights on AA and get "Up to 2 segments can be requested for the same date. Please modify your last selection and resubmit your request."

It then bumps me back to "select flights" page and leaves the first two flights there. If I proceed, it offers me the same flights LAS-DFW and DFW-CLT as Google Flights showed me; I can't add the third flight.
I've previously booked and flown LAS-PHX-CLT-DCA and DCA-PHX-DFW-LAX on the same day: I wonder if AA has changed the rules for multi-city?

I believe from recent comment of FT the AA website is illustrating has a bug/enhancement preventing some multiple selection of the same date.

Yes, over on FT they're finding the same thing - seems to started in Feb 2018. I've tried PrivateMode, clearing cache and history but run into the two segments rule. Makes it hard/expensive/impossible to perform SRs if this is the new norm.
I'll see if I can book itinerary through AA phone reservations.

Talk to a good travel agent. You can also be exempted from a bunch of taxes too since it sounds like you would have international travel into and out of the US, which would save you about 7%.

This is still happening. Very frustrating. Trying to fly LAX - RTB (Roatan) via Dallas and Google flights finds a great USD $800 J fare via Las vegas. The flights are there on the AA site when you do multi-city LAX - DFW (via LAS) and then DFW - RTB, but only after typing in all the passenger names, DOB etc does it come up with that error. The next best option AA.com will allow is $1100 US
Trying to book the same flights on AA australian site is horrendously overpriced, like $3000 ! So annoying that they rip australians off like that
