Hi - my AA awards says "Miles with Expiration Deferred Through 01/12/2014" - does anyone know if that is 12th January or 1st December 2014?

If it 12th January - any suggestions for extending it - I presume it means I need to book something by then and not use them

Cheers

[-]AA work in US format, so it's January 12th, 2014 :)[/-]

Interestingly, mine says:

Miles with Expiration Deferred Through May 2, 2015

*edit*

I just looked at my last email AAdvantage Summary and I see:

Mileage Exp. Date*:
27/04/2015
(DD/MM/YYYY)

So I was actually wrong (My email was November, and i've earned miles since hence it being May now not April 2015).

When was your last points earn? They're valid for 18 months from point of last earn.

Read our AFF credit card guides and start earning more points now.

That makes sense then - I purchased some in June and had planned a trip in September that didn't eventuate - so December 2014 expiry seems correct

Otherwise I would have taken a quick trip to Melbourne to use some up

Thanks drewbles
